What cookies are
Cookies are small text records placed by a website in a browser. Similar local-storage technology can remember a choice without sending it with every page request. Platform Portcore uses a local-storage item for consent preference. The site remains usable if you reject optional storage.
Storage used
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
platformPortcore_cookie_choice | Remembers whether Accept or Reject was selected | Until manually cleared | Platform Portcore |
| Optional analytics identifier | Measures aggregated visits only if analytics are introduced and accepted | Up to 13 months | Provider identified here before activation |
At publication, no optional analytics identifier is set. The category appears for transparency about what the banner’s Accept choice could permit after this notice is updated. Essential server logs may record IP address, request time, and user agent for security; these are not browser cookies.
Accepting or rejecting
The first-visit banner offers equally visible Accept and Reject controls. Rejecting does not block pages, forms, or training inquiries. You can clear the saved choice in browser settings to make the banner appear again.
Browser controls and impact
Browsers allow you to inspect, delete, or block cookies and local storage, often under privacy or site-data settings. Blocking the preference record means the banner may return on later visits. Core content still works, although settings that rely on browser memory cannot persist.
Third parties
Public images and font files may be requested from their hosting providers, which receive ordinary connection information. Platform Portcore does not authorize those providers to set marketing cookies through this site. If third-party analytics or embedded media are added, this table and consent behavior will be updated first.
